## In plain language

A suggested order for reading this atlas, from before pregnancy through birth to a baby’s first months. Each step points to one page and says in plain words what that page covers. It is a reading order, not medical advice and not a care plan. It does not tell anyone what to do.

## Technical summary

An editorial sequence of 14 steps over 13 records, ordered by life stage: preconception, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn and infant follow-up. It links only to existing records and each step note restates what the linked record says. It branches nowhere. It is not a care pathway. Several pages cover guidance for one country (NICE for England, the FDA for the United States) or one trial population, and each page states its own scope.
